Dore has idiotic opinions (government sucks, we should have government fix this!), but I can agree with him on basic reality. That's what I'd describe as a "reasonable lefty."

I used to watch Dore a bit. He has the Joe Rogan problem that he's a comedian that isn't actually funny (but surrounds himself with actual funny people like Kurt Metzger.).
Dore also only converses in preset talking points. He's not a good interviewer or a guest because he wants to monolog the same old bits he's ranted about a thousand times instead of letting his guests talk.
