That's why you file in advance. So you don't show up to a closed airport.
Probably one of the funniest ATC moments I've listened to was a fully loaded 747 managing to just barely land on a nearly blacked out, shortened runway, on a closed regional airport that was like 30 miles from the major airport they were supposed to be at.
Yep, fake news. One flight didn't have the right registration and didn't take off, but has since.
They've taken close to three thousand so far this week on foot, it doesn't make sense that this is where and when they'd pitch a fit.
