Game has been out for like 2 years already, so everyone already knows if its good/bad.
Fair point, I hadn't heard of it until this week.
Its fairly forgettable (one of the issues of re-using the name of a universally disliked game) and this entire debacle heavily reeks of marketing to get their name back into the headlines, because they are still updating it and trying to sell it more. And some of those updates seem fairly substantial so it couldn't have been cheap.
I'll still give them props for doing it, but its absolutely in self interest.
