Doomposters sit all day refreshing looking for a new angle to treat as a new catastrophe.
Trump said something pro-Israel, THE ZIONIST PUPPET BETRAYED US! (Ignore that he has been pro-Israel openly for a long time and everyone voted for him in spite of it)
Elon is pro-immigration! (Ignore that everyone Trump is appointing in charge of immigration is very against it and he dropped the amount of H1Bs in his first term)
Trump didn't behead Bill Gates mid conversation! (Ignore the obvious issue)
I can't even say its shills or the like, because plenty of regular posters fall for them everytime and happily forget anything prior to 3 days ago to scream at the sky with them.
They're so bad, they've forced ME to be positive! They're on the same wavelength as those retarded chicks that anything protecting babies or marriage will get a handmaids take to be reality.
It wouldn't matter. So many of them have convinced themselves that they are revolutionary truth speakers and any dissent is violence that they will simply scream that you are trying to censor them, are a secret Jew, and feed into their martyrdom complex.
Many of them for sure, but I think a lot of well meaning retards are swept up in it, especially when it gets loud enough. Some people just need to take a deep breath and realize any and every new potentially bad headline isn't the end.
some of them are probably feds (and reddit infiltrators trying to demoralize) as discussed further down the thread, but I suspect a fair chunk are people who, much like their counterparts on the left who believe all cops are out looking for blacks to brutalize, are heavily invested in the negative outlook, so much so that, in spite of things getting better, can't deal with the idea that they might be wrong about something so central to their worldview. having to accept that things are not as they believed would be like having the rug pulled out from under you on the edge of a cliff on a pitch black night.

I can't out depress that so /s
It feels very much like this old meme playing out in real life.
This comment should be pinned somewhere. It's gotten pretty damn ridiculous lately.

it's kinda sad, but also morbidly fascinating...
