Behold, the source of the declining birth rate and the domino effect it had on relationship, and motherfucking boomers did not a damn thing about it for TEN YEARS and now they are wondering why men don't even bother with dating. In my own experience, it was already BAD back then.
It's nuanced and complex. The price of housing that would allow a couple to start a family and the cost of starting a family have shot well beyond affordability for most who have to work two jobs and long hours just to make ends meet is also a factor.
But yes, the rise of online dating, the shift in the dating market toward a polygnyous model where a small percentage of men reap all the rewards and the 1's and 2's chase the 9's and 10's because everyone thinks they're a 10 with all the attention they get means that most men are striking out and ending up with their self-esteem shattered to pieces. From the data that I have seen, online dating is effectively the only game in town. Which is bad because the financial model for those apps is to keep people single in order to continue making a profit. For social meeting, outside of bars and nightclubs, it's become a social taboo to approach people in real life. You can even face consequences via shaming on social media or even police action if you're unlucky.
It's ridiculously contradictory too, going by your description of western dating and from my personal experience. As you know western status quo has been promoting hedonism and sexual liberation, every real life women in similar age I came across were so promiscuous. As someone that prefer to be old school, I didn't like what I was seeing, whorish women acting masculine swearing like sailors and tattoos all over the body. That was when I voluntarily gave up pursuing and even then tradcucks sat on their laurels doing nothing.
Been going on a lot longer than that. I had girls in my class accusing upwards of a dozen guys of rape in a 6 month time span, 20 years ago. They even brought in a ridiculous feminist to lecture the entire student body about rape (she was mercilessly heckled until the entire student body got a month of restriction). I refused to go near a single woman in that shitbox school.
Believe me, the early - mid-2010s were a HORRID time to be in college - personal story time.
This was about a year or two before that Mattress Girl (remember that lying bitch?) did her Jussie Smollett act, btw.
For a very brief time, I was part of an extended friend group that all partied in the same dorm out of tradition, about 10 - 20 times a year. Kind of like what you see on shows and movies, but not the stereotypical "beer pong in red cup" parties, we never did shit like that. Just listened to music, discussed our courses, watched sports, played multiplayer games on the fat PS2 that was still going strong, and feasted on take-out. We also had the occasional trips across and out-of-state. It was genuinely fun while it lasted.
To give an idea of how long this thing had been around, the group itself was effectively a "Theseus group". The seniors were originally the freshmen who got introduced to the group in the late '00s, with some of the older guys staying in touch (anyone who stayed in town after graduating would often be at the bar ~5 minutes outside campus, and we'd usually go there anyway). One of the older regulars was in his mid-30s at the time, and I even found a few Usenet posts from the turn of the millennium referencing the exact building. The same dorm had been used for these parties since the late '90s AT LEAST. Whether it was the same or a revival, I'm not too sure. But there were hundreds of stories attached to this one dorm, some good, others not (no killing but a few people did go over a balcony one time). Modern day folklore.
Anyway, I'd been a part of this group for about a year, shared some really good memories. Can't remember the exact year, I know it was around the time GTA V had either been announced or released. It was definitely cold outside.
Two of the seniors (can't remember if they were one or two years older than me) are giggling and cradling these girls around their arms, and I remember their expressions perfectly. Innocent little smiles. No sign of distress in the slightest. Furthermore, these weren't girls they'd just picked up off the street. We'd seen them around each other for weeks, maybe months. If not girlfriends, they were at least fuckbuddies. They take them into the spare bedroom and have a little fun. Out of tradition, we don't disturb them, and think nothing of it for the rest of the night.
Two days later I'm fucking being called to the Dean's office, pulled in the middle of a lecture to give my statement on a "rape incident on campus". I had no idea what the fuck he was on about until he asked "Do you know X and Y?"
"Yeah?"
"They just got busted for drugging and raping (girls). We want to know what you saw."
BULL. FUCKING. SHIT. Everyone who was there could see they weren't coerced into doing jackshit. But they did it because they knew they could. One guy got acquitted, the other did time and wrecked his entire adult life before it even started.
The dorm was shut down for forensic investigation, and when it re-opened, we never came back. The group just silently split one day. Everyone knew why they did it. Jealousy that their men could have a good time around people that wasn't them. In one weekend, they destroyed a friendship group that might have still existed by the time we colonized Mars.
I learned my lesson that day. Stay away from any girl, even if they look inviting. Because the feminism-charged atmosphere of the 2010s told them that they could just scream "RAPE" and everyone would believe them every single time. You'd get your life ruined if you tried engaging with a girl, so just wait until adulthood to make your move.
I will never fucking forgive them for what they did to me. For what they did to us. Every time I see a College party in a film or TV show, there's an irrational anger that grips me. Knowing what I had stolen from me because of the lies of two degenerate whores and society completely blind to any sort of truth.
It's why I wasn't so fucking surprised when GG happened. You can only push young men so far before they reach the point of peak demoralization and fight back.
The wreak havoc everywhere and the dumber ones of the lot honestly wonder why everything is shitty one day.
Why is LA on fire?
Why are people getting raped?
Why are there homeless everywhere?
Why aren't there any police?
Why are colleges churning our retards?
Because of 70 years of Jewish subversion, Jewish lawmakers, Jewish prosecutors, Jewish judges, Jewish bankers, Jewish Hollywood, Jewish run NGOs, Jewish lawsuits.
I found the button to sort by Likes. It's a very weird UI. You first have to scroll down enough to where the reply box and button can be seen under the tweet, then scroll back up, and only then will the little "settings" icon magically appear at the top of the page. No idea wtf their rationale is for this.
Maybe that could have played a factor before that article by journo like cascading influences. What happened around the circumstance of the bell curve? I never heard of what entailed there to be honest.
Pre internet, this cancellation stuff was done in print or on TV. I still remember what the Republican party did to Pat Buchannan in the 1990s, who has been proven right about everything, and is owed a groveling apology by the entire Republican party.

It's time for jews to feel a "cold spike of fear" as the inevitable day approaches when their power will end.

I wish replies were sorted by Likes.
About 2 months ago there was a dropdown box to sort replies. It lasted... a week?

I can place it to at least 1964:
Infamous "little girl" attack ad by Nixon against Barry Goldwater
That right there is a cancellation attempt.
Interview with Goldwarer on it

Its a terrible law and here's why that's a good thing. The level of mental gymnastics is off the chart
