Also, that they fight each other isn't proof against US backing. It's known that CIA-backed forces were fighting Pentagon-backed forces in Syria, for instance. It's all about destabilization. US helped build both AQ and ISIS, or at the very least their precursors. They've armed all these groups, and then they can't control them.
AQ and ISIS do "have ties" to US intelligence. Doesn't mean they're perfect dancing puppets or allies, but there are connections.
US builds up all these groups to fight the other groups.
And also the 'intelligence services' KNOWING about their plans to attack and letting it happen so they can justify bigger spending in 'anti-terrorism'.
So chances are high that someone from DEEP State organised these attacks but fucked up hiding the evidence to show how blatantly they did it in bulk.
Damn DEI strikes again! Can’t get good CIA spooks anymore.
Don't underestimate that groups like ISIS and AQ could still have made the attack.
The old AQ calling card was simultaneous attacks.
...Except there's at least some reason to suspect that (today's) AQ and ISIS might have ties with US intelligence agencies (and thus the deep state).
AQ and ISIS didn't, but it could have been other Islamist factions.
Are you saying ISIS and AQ do not have USINT ties?
Who benefits?
There's no reason for ISIS to attack the US, every reason for them to attack Israel.
The only benefit from attacking the US is getting the US to obliterate Israel's enemies.
Israel benefits, Israel did it.
Yes they did/do.
