It's been culturally illegal for Americans to draw attractive female characters that normal men would like for so long that they've forgotten how, you'd have to rebuild an entire titty art ecosystem from scratch.

He has skill, but chooses to draw a lot of black elves. I would think more likely that he knows where the jobs are, but could be a true believer.
