Not really. I'm a federal contractor and last I heard that contract turned into a smoldering crater shortly after I and the last two other competent members of the team departed. But hey, at least they have a shitty incompetent Chinese DBA instead of an Indian one. None of us got a say on that one and we're not sure how he managed to get hired.
We're still hearing stories about that guy through our vendor contacts almost four years on...
Ah, I know the feeling. I left my contract shortly before it turned into a wall to wall shitshow as well.
