The entire world has attempted everything on Putin for decades and he’s still alive. He’s probably had hundreds of attempted assassinations on him, and not just from other world powers. If he knows at least one thing, it’s survival. If a world power is caught trying to assassinate him now, he will justify World War 3.
There is an easy way to “stop him.” We can talk! President Trump did it during his first four years and he made massive headway to peace between nations that allied between the US, China, and Russia.
Trump is also one of the most pro-Israel presidents around, so if Israel gets in his ear about Putin hard enough over this kind of insult, its a fast track to making sure he doesn't give an inch towards peace without Putin grovelling an apology.
Im optimistic he won’t start WW3 on some comments that could be ignored. He did in Middle East and last time I checked, they still parade around killing Jews and Christians.
