When the other mogwai pop out of Gizmo, they are already mischievous, and when they turn they become even more evil. It seems to imply that mogwai are already bad, and the transformation makes them worse. But Gizmo is extraordinarily kind. So if Gizmo was turned would he be evil, or would he still be kind?

If you kill a baby while on LSD because you think they're a demon you've done evil, but you're not evil because you wouldn't normally do that.
Gizmo wouldn't do evil things if he was in control of his faculties, but if he eats after midnight he wouldn't be.
If you ascend to taking LSD knowing that you could potentially go insane and kill babies thinking they're demons, then you've ascended to the evil.
Nope. A simple error in judgement or mistake doesn't make one evil.
I do not subscribe to the doctrine of diminished responsibility.
If you take the drugs, that is your decision. Everything that follows that decision is your responsibility.
