Vote harder, of course.
Actually, not voting or voting for anyone but Putin would alarm the Kremlin.
You have a source for that?
Yes. The government often puts pressure on employers to encourage, pressure or force employees to vote: https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2021/09/08/russians-say-they-are-being-forced-to-vote-in-elections-this-time-online-a74999
(I don't know anything about this specific article, but it mirrors something I've seen a lot.)
Now why would that be?
If they held an election and no one voted, their victory would have no legitimacy - even if they used ballot-stuffing to give themselves 80% of the vote. That's what I've been telling Trump supporters who over the past few years argued that "they'll steal it anyway". Stealing elections is not without costs.
Did you even read your own fucking article? Oh, Russians can e-vote now, so the Russian establishment can just rejigger the votes from the comfort of their own homes, instead of bussing people around or truck pallets of ballots at 4 AM. Much legitimacy, very secure, wow.
I know you're a recovering leftist and you're programmed to perform Destiny-style source-gotchas, but do better.
