Sad thing is, nowadays with all the DEI and other nonsense, America can barely keep some of the vessels afloat when not under attack. As someone who's always been suspicious of how our military has been utilized by corrupt or incompetent higher ups, this is still incredibly sad to see what has happened to our armed forces. I want an incredibly competent and powerful, and incredibly rarely used military. Instead we seem to have the opposite now.
hell, even the US would normally enter war over the sinking of one of their ships (USS Maine, which is its own rabbit hole). the fact that Israel could do this and get away with it Scott free is telling.
