The same way they were completely fine with watching cities across America burn (and even bailing out the perpetrators), but an unguided tour of the Capital was the worst thing since 9/11.
But if the system can go after Trump, Biden, and their families it's a threat to the political class and must be stopped.

Edit: Also, I think that is a bit personal for Fetterman. He's got some experience with courts being used by political opponents. When he was a mayor, feuding with the with the council, they tried to get him on permitting stuff.
