Bulba, unironically make a cooking thread and post your recipes.
After you posted that sweets recipe some years ago, which I admit I still haven't actually done, I meant to bring this up but either forgot, or didn't really have context to suggest it like now.
Just make a thread and suggest new parent comments be the recipes which people can then comment on under. Means every new comment chain starts with a recipe for people to work off as a base for either actual cooking or discussion.
Sure! I live in a place with different stuff being available, so I have to work off of the basics most of the time, which can be pretty useful for people who aim to make things from scratch.
Do we have any mods/bosses/dictators around? Because if it's cool with them, we can do that.
God knows I can't make dinner for all of you bastards (imagine dinner with TheImp RIP), so at least I can slide you the good recipe cards.
The creativity is also useful for those who may not be so inclined themselves, either sticking to what they know or recipes they have learned/printed out without ever deviating.
Imo cooking things from scratch can also be better for those with the time to in regards to mental health. In general making anything can feel quite rewarding so cooking really shouldn't be any different, right? Especially when it can come with tangible enjoyment through both flavours and feeling sated.
Can ping u/DomitiusOfMassilia for a thread pin once one is up.
Give him mash potatoes and see what he sculpts ala Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
I was summoned.
Yes, cooking threads are a fine idea.
