Haley is completely understandable. Pompeo was a pretty staunch Trump ally even after Jan 6 went down, so that he kind of surprising he went hard "no" on him. But it could just be he didnt have any ideas of where to put him.
Pompeo believed that inditing Trump over the classified documents (the Jack Smith case) was good. He also led the charge to persecute Julian Assange.

I used to like Pompeo too. Now I'm embarrassed I ever supported him and hope he stays as far away from Trump's team as possible.
I was unaware he had changed later on, so I take back what I said then.
