For one thing Trump would be on his way out right now. But since they insisted on stealing the 2020 election they have themselves to thank for having to put up with him for another 4 years. That's just one example of karmic justice we'll be seeing over the next 4 years.
Most importantly...Trump's people would have been the same 2016 people who backstabbed, hobbled, and were generally treasonous, and Trump wouldn't have known better.
Giving him four years to stew was probably for the best. Who really got a grasp of just what DC is like, and how evil some of these people are. Hopefully he has learned from that, and has a much more interesting and impactful term this time.
As for the main question, 2024...would it matter? I doubt it would be better than Trump 47.
No matter how people feel about Trump, or if he's underwhelming, God Emperor, or whatever...as far as the current system and Overton window get, I think Punished Trump might be just about the best we can get. And if he does a good job, that will push things more, so we can continue the trend of improving things. If Trump had won 2020, not only would Trump 20 be inferior to Trump 24, but the Republican candidate in '24 might very well have been a partial/full neocon. They were already trying to slide back; if Trump wasn't running for election again, and if he hadn't been taught a very practical lesson about who these people are, the party may very well have backslid.
I think too many people were still putting their head in the sand and needed to learn the hard way how bad things would get with these woke retards in office for four years before they were ready to accept he was right about alot of things. We are now entering a new Trump term with a Trump who has hopefully learned, has a VP who is hopefully less of a backstabber, and an American people who are absolutely fed up with leftist bullshit and have absolute 0 trust in the mainstream media. This may have all been for the best.
Trump has the responsibility to change some things this time around and doesn't have the excuses he had back then (lack of experience in politics, being surrounded by backstabbing RINOs etc). He has 2 years until the midterms and must not procrastinate.
If Trump wins in 2020, Nikki Haley loses to Gavin Newsom in 2024 and he opens a portal to hell from his mouth and every soul trapped on Earth languishes in torment for all eternity.
I just want to start a discussion. I thought this would be interesting to think about.
Does Trump's 2024 win feel so special because the past 4 years were such a disaster?
They showed us just how consequential corrupt governments can be, and therefore compelled many of us to do a better job being politically active and standing up for our rights. Would America have become so awake if Trump somehow did win in 2020?
I'd love to hear this community's ideas for this alternate history.
Probably would have ended up being Desantis. He was looking pretty decent back before he tried to steal the spotlight from Trump. Of course now we know what we know about him, but back then we didn't. And with Trump in office, he would have bided his time for another 4 years without revealing the dagger.

They never stopped hating Trump the 4 years he was out of office, so he will have been haunting them for 12 years instead of 8.

Fact check: false.
The portal would be from both his and Haley's mouths.
Fact check: false
They have buttholes for mouths
