No.
Also, I don't believe that this story is true. Even now, the State Department is still hyping up the idea of a Ukrainian victory.
It seems to me that some fuckhead in the pentagon assumes that China is our greatest ally, followed by Israel, and our greatest enemy is clearly Russia. Thus, we should expend all available pieces of military equipment to deplete Russia of it's own man-power and equipment so that when the inevitable Amero-Russo War finally takes place, we'll be able to win.
They genuinely seem to think that Russia is our greatest and most immediate threat. They would never have told Zelensky to run, they would have told him to stand and fight until every last Ukrainian is dead.
Except the russian machine isn't concerned with manpower. Sacrificing conscripts to get blooded veterans and an excuse to build more modern equipment is a victory for them.
The russians are winning. The "ukrainian" puppet oligarchs are being enriched. The US military industrial complex is being enriched. The citizenry of all three countries is paying the toll in blood and gold.
I don't disagree with any of that.
Ukraine was always going to fight until the end.
The war is a "victory" in a sense however, in that a dead slave on either side is points to them. WEF Putin could well feel that way too.
Ukraine was not "always going to fight to the end". Remember, they'd already been living under a Russian puppet regime until the State Department sanctioned a color revolution.
Had the Russian Army been less incompetent and less self-damaged by fraud and corruption, they probably could have taken the whole country back in those first weeks. A lot of Ukranians simply would have gone on living like they already had, even if they saw it as an illegitimate government.
Well, I have great respect for you and your opinions generally here, but you are simply wrong and lack experience in the region.
I have friends (and family) on both sides of that conflict. Anecdotally, all my Russian friends had to flee the draft (even those who spoke positively about the "special military operation"). All my Ukrainian friends stayed and took up arms. Even the women. It was a brutal blitzkrieg style at that the beginning.
Most all of those in eastern Europe know very well what happens when Russia takes over: mass murder of families and non Russians. Recently Georgia went through this in Abkhazia, most of the towns simply wiped out.
Further back the baltics still have monuments to the folks rounded up and shot, the KGB rooms still having bullet holes in them.
The Russian government is far, far more brutal than the American mind can comprehend.
You mean the puppets installed by the US and the EU will drag men off the streets and put them through a meat-grinder "until the end", because these are their orders from the dual evil empires.
This still hasn't happened in the years you have been claiming it to be the case.
All of it has happened. There are many videos of young men being dragged off by corrupt military recruiters, who are hated by the way in the non-country itself. People mark their vehicles that look like what they drive with 'not military recruiter' so they don't get vandalized.
It turns out, dragging off people's kids to be slaughtered for American and European imperial interests doesn't make you popular. Who could have imagined?
