Hah, I wish people would've taken a sudden interest in aviation, but no - it's basically "fake news!" but for the left of that time.
I went on a whole tangent with that canard thing. I know it's french for duck, but then I found out that's the masculine. So then I was trying to figure out what the English equivalent to cane and canard would be... it's hen and drake/mallard btw.
