I gotta ask, do they constantly do this uglifying because they are jealous of how good looking the VAs are forgetting they ARE actors so appearance matters?

It's spite, like dating a black guy to make your "racist" Dad mad. They've identified, correctly or no, Right-wingers like women with feminine features. So now they're minimizing, if not eliminating femininity, hoping it upsets Right-wingers.
And they wonder why Asian media is increasing in popularity while their studios are doing massive layoffs..

Don’t blame “right-wingers talking about it.” Talking about something is how you show your support for it, or promote it to others. If no one talked about anime, it might skate under the radar longer, but only as a consequence of not being as popular or successful here, which would also not be good. The simple truth is that the left cannnot accept anything that’s not ugly and awful and controlled by them, so targeting anime/manga (and Japan in general) was always inevitable no matter what.

Thomas Sowell wrote a wonderful book about these people. The Vision of the Anointed - Self-Congratulation as a Basis for Social Policy. That book is where I found that perfect description of how the left views themselves, and the rest of us: The Anointed, and the benighted.
Virtue signaling. They pretend to care about ugly women while benefiting and cultivating their own beauty.
It was rumored that devs uglify female characters in order to appease the women and trannies who work on the games. It’s all about imposing a new standard of female beauty on society so that the relative value of every woman is inflated.
Ugly girls and fake women can tell themselves, “I’m only slightly less hot than Lara Croft!” Mid girls can say, “I’m just as hot as Lara Croft!” Hot girls can say, “I’m twice as hot as Lara Croft!” And all of them will believe this has nothing to do with reduced standards.
That second paragraph sounds like self reaffirmed delusions, I don't doubt that is their attention but from actually taking to women who play games:
Ugly and average women like playing as hot women for the power fantasy, similar to guys when we play someone like the DOOM Slayer, hot women like to either play as someone just as hot as them or better but ALL women enjoy playing as someone cute.
That delusion justifying lowering standards might be the reason in the dev teams but looking at sales, it doesn't translate to a buying audience.

Both of these ideologies are based on the same thing - there are people that can't "win" in the currently dominant systems (either because they are too ugly, too lazy, too low-iq, whatever), so they want to change the system into one where they are at the top, all of a sudden.
The proponents of those new systems are those people, and the others they manage to indoctrinate when they get into positions that allow them to do that.
Seriously - a super attractive girl doesn't need feminism. They're already greatly benefiting in the current system. Why would they want to change it to something where they don't have an advantage? It'd be asinine.
