I live in Florida now, but still keep in contact with folks back home. The lefty people are crowing about Trump signs and banners disappearing from neighborhoods.
Meanwhile the big lefty names are saying that if Trump wins, they will protest again. These protests look like Chas and riots.
It's insane to witness even from afar.
Is Washington like a lot of blue states where it’s very red but one big city ruins it?
That's exactly what it's like.
Get outside of Seattle or Spokane and you'll see nothing but Trump signs.
Depends on the part of Yakima or the tricities as well. No one in Othello can legally vote.
The people crowing live in Arlington
I just left Arlington. Red area getting absorbed into the blue as the Seattle/ Everett area absorbs everything.
Sucks, as I like that area and the northern parts. Still pretty rural. But the area is turning blue.
I love the Tri Cities and Spokane Valley. Some shitty parts, but still nice areas.
I love how Spokane is being surrounded by cities breaking away from it. The valley is nice. Jedi Council, Comic shops, and game sales are amazing and something I miss.
Depends on the city in tri cities I guess.
Arlington used to be awesome.
California is like this too, believe it or not. pretty much all small towns and rural areas are heavily Trump.
Yeah, but those areas have more corn than people, and corn doesn't vote. Plus, cities pay all the taxes, so rural hicks should just shut up and stop voting altogether.
Look at the county break down of the state for the 2020 election. The city and surrounding suburbs of Seattle in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties dominate the rest of the state. Spokane is left leaning, but isn't totally gone yet.
Good point. I live in Texas and it’s a massive red ocean with blue islands. Although there is so much space in Texas the smaller and rural towns over power the big cities for now. I live in the county with the only large city that isn’t blue yet
The county maps are always interesting. It's usually just a red map with blue dots.
Spokane had the rioters and local gun club meet up. That was interesting.
