Gpas reflect compliance, not intelligence. This is why women excel at “modern” teaching methods, it just requires note taking regurgitation, not critical thinking.

The funny thing is, as that type of teaching becomes more common, cheating it becomes easier.

For my part I had a 4.0 in the semesters I bothered to turn in assignments.

Their questions aren't hard. Half the time you can tell the correct answers without reading the questions.

It's why they're such abject failures at everything else, as soon as they leave the context of fools and have to actually do something

Especially with AI becoming more useful. I think they found that most school papers pass as AI either because many were the training data for the AIs in the first place, or they all just have the same kind of tone and phrasing to them.

It's an intended effect of the system. Cheating is easy it's just vomiting on command, innovating and growing is hard.

It's a poor tactic in my opinion.

If I was creating such a system I'd want some way to identify people like me and filter them out.

Currently it doesn't do that

This is why so many “smart” people are worried about AI.

Actually intelligent people realize that AI is just advanced statics/regression analysis/ parroting.
