As far as I knew, and it seems most actual neo-Nazis seem to mean it that way, 88 is indeed Heil Hitler. Not saying it can't have other meanings, but I did think Hitler love was the primary one.

No im not sure on that but it would follow suit logically from the same guy that said the 14. I suspect 88 is a coincidence.
