I don't really have a strong opinion about this, but I do wonder if all of the people cheering it on would have any problem with assassinations of US or Israeli soldiers who are out of uniform and not engaged in any sort of military activity.
Or that British soldier that was murdered recently.
Hezbollah was one of the military factions in Lebanon that fought a bloody ethnic civil war against other religious groups.
It's a sectarian paramilitary organization with no official status in Lebanon and it was one of the first Islamic groups to start using suicide bombings.
Considering one of their stated goals is Jewish genocide, I can see why Israel believes they're all fair game.
And I don't really care. They joined the group, they can deal with the consequences. It'd be like if the dems explicitly said "we want to genocide white people" as their party platform. Any dem would be fair game in a kinetic conflict at that point. Or do you not agree?

This has already been a long-standing threat to US military personally. While AQI never attacked families in the US, they would love to do so, and there were attempts to intimidate and threaten family members if the servicemen were careless about OPSEC.
Truth is that irregular warfare is going to become regular. Irregular warfare attacks within the homeland, and outside of uniform are going to become much more normal as conventional warfare becomes to costly and ineffective to employ by minor nations and NGO's.

Issue is, Hezbollah don't wear uniforms even when actively engaged in combat, so pointing out they weren't in uniform falls flat.
