I used to have this (understandably) mistaken assumption as well. "Pumpkin Spice" is the spice blend they use for seasoning pumpkin, like for pies: cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Sometimes one or two others. It is not the pumpkin itself.
Mate that's EVERY one of these trends on social media. You can tell with how they hype it up it's more fake than a Kardashian.
If you want the good seasonal food, look for stuff NOT hyped up on social media, just on a poster on the store window or a single post on their media page. Some stores will just introduce one or two items each season to change things up and keep the menu fresh not stale.

If you want good Hawaiian grinds, go to 7/11. Every time I walk into an American mainland one I get disappointed.

In the hierarchy of slop, rap ranks much worse than pumpkin spice lattes. Pumpkin spice can be quite tasty, but rap is never good.
