SparkMandrill83 asked what happened to the orange vests protesting in a different thread. That got me to thinking, for a while there a bunch of different Western countries had protests by various farmers, truckers, orange vests, etc. France, Netherlands, Canada, etc. Whatever happened with those protests? Did the states crack down on the people, did they just disappear? There is so much unrest and crap going on it is hard to keep track of everything.

From my observations:
Canada cracked down hard and despite some support, because of the Canadian normie mentality of 'we don't want to create a fuss', a lot of people just left the country viewing it a doomed example of leftist policy
Europe and farmer protests seem to be gaining institutional power given that they became a major party in one country already. There seems to be more a fracturing of the major parties that their grip on power is slipping and making desperate moves like the recent arrest of the Telegram founder in France.
The UK is Europe x100, the two tier policing is becoming TOO blatant to hide that those above normie intelligence recognise it, there's an increased risk the Troubles and IRA may return and the country has various enclaves of Islamic control the establishment won't do anything about. It's looking like it'll be the first country in Europe to implode into just open violence, MORE than it already is.
That's my impression so far, hard to get a full picture without more feet on the ground information.
You think both sides won't ALSO target the UK establishment?
I hate being flooded with immigrants, but my main enemy are the politicians, journalists and bankers. So yes, it is a civil war, though really more of a revolution.
The Canadian truckers movement & adjacent Freedom ones essentially went back to exclusively complaining online and getting into purity spiral slapfights internally with each other.
There's been a huge rise in anti-Indian mass immigration sentiment in Canada over the last two years, but no corresponding boot-on-the-ground protesting or organization.
The Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre who is going to replace Trudeau in a year is a Mitch McConnell/Lindsey Graham level cuck. He refuses to even address mass immigration beyond "Build More Houses" and posts campaign photos daily of him pandering to pajeets. While publicly denouncing any grassroots nationalist movement leaders.
Its really pathetic, most of the people who dropped their tofu in horror once they woke up to reality a year ago are now trying to run the movement and turning up their noses at the ppc. Take back canada spent more time shunning would be followers who had the audacity to notice earlier than them, got like 20 people at their joke of a protest and still got called a hate rally.
Is Take Back Canada the Josh Alexander Catholic, kicked out of high school movement?
The plan at this point is to get him elected just to give him enough rope to hang himself with so that PPC can actually get the boomer vote in the future.
The Canadian ones died down but it caused a country wide political shift for most provinces. The Liberals (who have been in power for 10 years) are not going to win the next election. The conservatives are almost guaranteed a minority & maybe a majority government if the pajeets don't ruin it.
A lot more local grassroots support for conservative candidates & even shithole Toronto has conservatives winning elections in parts of the city that have been liberal run for 40 years. Might be a pyrrhic victory though as the conservatives as a whole are pretty weak willed. Similar to the GOP from the US, there are a couple based people but the rest of the party are cunts & slack jawed faggots.
The pajeets will ruin it.
I'd actually say the GOP in America are in a better position thanks to Trump and WHO he's bringing on board.
Trump's main issue has always been who he's hired. Having RFK Jr not just endorse him but be on board in charge of healthcare and looking into food quality, having Tulsi endorse him too and others too means he might have the right people with enough knowledge to dismantle the establishment where it hurts. Plus him pardoning the founder of silk road when he gets into office will bloody the nose of the Feds too.
There are still too many brown nosers but a lot seem to know to shut up it's Trump's party now.
Trump is one of (((them))), so I'm not sure why you think he's any different.
This is my greatest hope. They have been sitting in the wings waiting for a moment like this. Let us hope they don't throw it away.
Protests only work if the Government acts. If they ignore it then by definition it's not even a protest. You just have to go back to work. And that speeds up exponentially if the media ignores you and you're not willing to escalate.
Crack down plus they have actual productive jobs they need to do.
If they decide they're not going to feed, deliver or service anyone that works for the state things will get interesting again.
If you see it on the news, it's not a protest, it's a government op.
If it's a real protest, they quash it and silence it.
I still remember it clearly with the farmers protests in the EU.
The media just copy/pasted their usual 'le evil nazis literally genociding cute puppies' bullshit. Then the handlers infomed them that this was not some impotent controlled opposition march, but actual productive people who would have the power for an outright revolution.
Within 2 days there were 0 articles about the protests just seemingly out-of-place commentary how the benevolent lords of the EU sadly had to delay the policies leading to the protests, but wich are totally 100% supergood and necessary because climate change.
While the media was in full gatekeeping mode, i was watching videos of armored police vehicels being pushed aside by tractors, police being covered in menure and outright beaten. Stuff that you normally would have on 24/7 rotation in the statemedia with the usual lies intermixed.
I was talking with some local farmers recently who already are hearing stories of farmers partaking in the protests suddenly seing strange people posing as joggers photographing their equipment.
I don't think it's far-fetched to imagine Von der Leyen and the rest of the tyrants seething and planning the most cruel retaliation.
To emphasise this, consider the difference in reporting between the civil disturbances in Ireland vs those in the UK right now. The Irish citizenry are going further than the British, frequently setting fire to refugee housing every week, but the British govt is actually cracking down harder. This is because the British cops think they can't lose against their own people, given the scale of the opposition and the tools on each side.
Contrastingly, the Irish government thinks it CAN lose, because it's smaller. So in Ireland the same thing you describe has happened from the political side - cautious re-examination of immigration policy, gradual de-escalation of condemnation (they don't go much further than 'it's unacceptable' in their soundbytes these days), and growing media silence on all these mysterious fires...
yeah. i see a general attempt by known left-extremists in newspapers to suddenly switching back to 'both sides are bad, look we totally also criticize the left'.
they are trying to lul the populance back into their enlightend centrism farce.
