Women as a whole hate pretty women.

Women as a whole hate competition, physical attraction is just one facet of that.

You never get a better reality check than watching a group of already present (older)women react to another woman that's anywhere near attractive.

AKA, the foundation of the MeToo movement where an older generation pulled up the ladder after climbing for so long. If Weinstein doesn't called his dick "the ladder" he's been missing out on a lot of puns.

And magically right after, all the "new generation" of female actresses being shoved in our faces are god ugly Goblina's that wouldn't have made it through the preliminary rounds of the casting couch.

Considering Hollywood types are both scum of the earth and rich beyond measure I think them getting fucked a few times by creepy old men is a valid trade for both them and us not having to pretend something like Zendaya is attractive.
