Yeah, if they go after random people, the unrest is for definite, apparently Belfast has gone full militant now and they're posting signs up warning people about facilitating migrants and citing Muslims specifically. These people have no idea how the internet works at all, they have no idea about jurisdictions. If they start beating the drum overseas and screeching about mean words online they are going to get openly laughed at by other governments.

From what I'm hearing, it sounds like although the Conservatives were useless, they appeased all sides enough that this bomb was put on pause. Labour being run by ideological idiots that want to rush things for 'progress', didn't know how to turn the countdown off and now finding out how much of this shit is going to blow up in their faces.
When you start digging into the IRA and the Provos and their track record, it's hilarious to think that anyone would try to provoke their retirees. They were literally next door to a regional power on an island, but successfully waged a military campaign against them for the better part of a century.
And the regional power essentially went "all right, we're scarpering off, if you promise not to kill any more of us, we'll let you go home" (this was called "decommissioning"). And even then, about half of the captured IRA/Provos told the Brits off ("Stick Your Decommission" is even the lyrics of a protest song) and accepted sentences in British maximum security prison rather than pinky swearing to not kill more Brits.
