A part of me wants to trawl Reddit to see what the true believers say about this. Do they go “Wow, that Algerian woman sure trained hard to be so tough! Good for her!” Or “That Italian boxer was clearly not cut out for this competition. Maybe she can try again in four year.” Or do they understand the optics of this and simply won’t discuss it at all?
True believers actually pretend that men are not physically more capable than women by nature, pointing to outliers and the effects of training. They're insane.
I checked out what reddit had to say, and they said that this person had a vagina and could bear children.
The boxing organization that said she couldn't compete has been vague of their protocols saying its confidential. The president of that organization said she had xy chromosomes. So she could be intersex or have hyperandrogynism.
So maybe she's a chick who outputs a ton of extra testosterone.
