Collapse will absolutely result in that, and almost the entire planet is headed toward collapse. In fact, it will result in things far more than what u/censorshiphell wants.
You don't even have to do it, you can just make some propaganda about horrific internment camps and about shooting boats.
Propaganda is the reason they are here in the first place, it could be the reason they leave as well.
That's actually a great idea, spread propaganda in the third world about how Western countries are unbearable dystopias.
