I'm surprised they didn't bring back Jeffrey Jones.
Trying to fuck a 14 year old boy is tame for Hollywood, so its not like they have morals.
First reaction: Him too? Then I remembered it's the 21st century.
Anyway, I really only care about Lydia's character, and Beetlejuice himself, being in it. The dead couple could've moved on, and that crazy-ass mom of Lydia probably sculpted something big and hideous that killed both her and the dad by collapsing on them.
I believe this one is set to take place literally right after his character died, so its deliberately set up to shit on him and them excluding him. Which he is a pedo and a homo which would be warranted but again, its Hollywood, so it feels hugely hypocritical and more of a virtue signal over moral.
Also I'd rather keep the human characters, sans the mom, as they keep it on the line between horror and comedy. Once they are gone you end up with the TV show which is pure wacky nonsense.
