Young, black men traditionally don't vote, even if they can. Which is why you had (cringemaster shit like) MTV's Vote or Die. This is why they are interesting to both parties.
Old, black women vote, and they all vote for Democrats. That's kind of the vote distribution. but there's a lot to tap. People think they're simping pointlessly, but that's only half true. There really aren't many new sources of voters. So you either go try to persuade the 3% (or maybe even 0.3%) of undecided voters in swing states. or you try to find someone who isn't going to vote and get them to vote.
Actually, from all the data I've seen. Trump has fucking mastered getting out low probability, no probability, and new voters. He's figured out something I've been talking about for years. The largest political bloc in society is currently the politically disaffected and unengaged, who are upset with the process as it stands. Trump is winning a ton of rural blacks who typically just never vote, or never voted.
Strangely enough, the stats of 2020 weren't wrong. The demographic he struggles with the most is Union Dem style working-class older white men. He's basically got almost all he'll ever get.
Getting out any vote is what it's all about. Some people act like these guys are equally establishment right now. Which is kind of ridiculous, cuz one got convicted and shot at and one didn't.
"So establishment, I'm going to have myself shot in the face."
I think Trump is a powerful man but not in Washington DC.
