It will have to be much more plausible than the explanation I just heard of the Deep State wanting Trump to win now so they're trying to drum up support for him. Eye witness account is circulating on Twitter saying people were frantically pointing the shooter out to police for a couple minutes before he fired.
It was a guy on a nearby roof with a rifle mounted on a bipod, now dead. BBC interviewed someone who claims to have alerted police/secret service to his suspicious presence on the roof before the shooting began. More details:
