Quillette editor has discovered that :
Some vindictive maniac who has a grudge with the rationalist movement has effectively banned @Quillette, @thefp, @freebeacon, from being used as sources on Wikipedia -- whereas TeenVogue is characterised as 'solid' 😑
Just as a heads up, the writer of this article is the same guy who spun up an entire hoax about furry bullshit in Texas classrooms to sell to Libs of TikTok and then celebrated about this afterwards.
He's also a gay furry Ex-Morman. So. Y'know. Take whatever it is he says with a grain of salt.
Thanks. I didn’t know
I'm not going to say he's wrong, mind, but I've hung out and currently hang out on forums the writer frequents - he just posted on this article, actually - and he tends to act very thin-skinned, primma-donna, 'I'm taking my ball and going to my own playground' attitude(only to come crawling back months later).
I've seen it repeated enough over the years that everything he does tends to get a very skeptical side-eye.
The venom-spitting hatred these psychotics have for the "rationalist" movement which is really just the most milquetoast bunch of liberal dweebs never fails to baffle me.
I wasn't even aware there was a modern day rationalist movement. What kind of rationalism is it supposed to be?
It's basically a bunch of edgy atheists who got a lot less edgy when they joined the feminist religion.
Nah, they're the atheists who got excommunicated for rejecting feminism.
They're still libshits, like thunderfoot and Steven Pinker, and I can admittedly understand why thunderfoot in particular is hated since he's such a smarmy flaming douchebag. But the broader point is that they're the Quillette autists who want experts to run everything, just not those experts, and those experts (Cultural Marxists) are likewise disfainful of "rationalists" for being...not completely insane.
The Quillette/LessWrong crowd, think SlateStarCodex
