Hold on, WTF?!? REALLY?!? You subbed a different language with different cultural history for Japanese? I think that successfully pissed off not just Japan but China too so congrats on that..
This game will only be played by Western soyboys, and I mean that literally. A lot of the old school AC fans (I used to be one if them) jumped off around AC Black Flag or Unity seeing the writing on the wall. An AC in Japan was asked for since AC2 and them DEI'ing it means we ain't coming back, a lot of the 'YASS we jupanese an shit' crowd won't buy it cause they never back what they preach with THEIR money and the normie crowd are slowly drifting more and more away from the big studios out of boredom.
One thing I notice on the Japanese channels talking about it (overshadowed by Yasuke in the American coverage) is just how shitty and ahistorical the game is. Clearly made by diversity writers who then outsourced their work to some pajeets. Chinese lanterns and decorations, ugly people, torii's in random locations, and lots of other anachronistic items and events. Of course the Jap channels talk about Yasuke but also how generically poor the gameplay in his segments is. He isn't an assassin so nothing you do with him even feels like an Assassin's Creed game. It was clearly going to be a game about the female shinobi but then they shoehorned in the black circus act because DEI.
This is great, and I love some of the little digs, like SBI, Elon Musk, and 'make Yasuke gay.'
Did they include the release date of the game? Why?
