The Logitech mouse that I've used for nearly ten years is starting to crap out. I need a new one and am overwhelmed with choices. The only hard requirement I have is that it's a wired mouse—I refuse to use wireless. No budget requirements. Which wired mouse do you like to use for gaming? Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you!

I have a Mad Catz R.A.T. 8+. It's the most comfortable mouse I have ever used, since I have bigger hands.
You can swap out the palm rest and the pinky rest with either plastic or rubber pieces (the rubber degrades after a while so i go with plastic)
It lights up rgb, has a button to slow down your cursor, and has a sensitivity changer as well. There is a second scroll wheel by your thumb.
The only issue I have with it after a couple years of ownership is the main scroll wheel is jumping.
I had no idea Mad Catz made computer mice, but after googling that name I am completely unsurprised by what I see. That thing looks like a Transformer got shot mid-transform, then shoved into a trash compactor. What in the fuck, man.
I knew it would look like shit. Problem is, I totally need a pinky rest. I'll have to research that now. I didn't even think it was a thing but it's one of the reasons I hate MnK gaming.
My R.A.T. was far and away the best mouse I've ever owned or used, period. The day the sensor died was one of my saddest days. I've still never found anything even remotely as comfortable, modular, or functional as the R.A.T., and finding a functional one on eBay for a fair price is nigh impossible.
Love the way it looks and I have a similar mouse that I use for much of the same reasons (but not for gaming).
I have a Ragnok for FPS gaming, which is pretty cool and surprisingly comfortable even for long gaming sessions.
