I want this to do well since Superman is my favorite comic book character (along with Spidey) but it’s current year. I really wish Cavill could’ve done an uplifting and positive Superman.
I'm sure he wanted to. Remember, it's become clear that Snyder is a hack. Henry did have moments where he could be the positive ray of sunshine, but the atmosphere of the rest of the damn movies basically destroyed what image he was able to present.
True. Just that Cavill looked the part and I believe he could’ve had a movie as great as the Reeve/Donner movies. Plus there are so many uplifting Superman comics you could work from
Yup. I loved Cavill as Superman, but hated how he was portrayed in the movies.
