I have friends who are going through the house buying racket right now. They couldn’t believe that none of the primary realtor sites offer crime data anymore. All of these companies are colluding to open and maintain a gap in their own market. It’s a sure-fire sign of ESG interference.
It only matters if the government prosecutes it, which, a) they don't really do any more (recent Google stuff notwithstanding) and b) they only do when you do stuff that they don't like.
It's probably not, either, because making moral choices isn't collusion. You couldn't say they're all colluding if they all have a 30 day return policy.
Why would the government prosecute? They were the ones that passed the Fair Housing Act and created the Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity. Redfin and the other sites might dress it up in DEI, but they don't want another vector to get sued by race hustlers.
