They're electric cars, so I imagine a lot of takers will be entitled leftists with more money than sense. Being shitty people who leave others to clean up their messes because they feel doing so is beneath them is a trait they share with ghetto trash.
An astonishing number of gen z dont even have a drivers license, somewhere north of 40%. To people of Generation X like me this is just unfathomable. No D/L means you can't go anywhere except by your own two feet, or by paying someone to take you there.
I actually know people in RL who have tried to sincerely argue in favor of car-less cities. They own cars themselves, of course, but they also think we would all be better off relying completely on public transportation or whatever.
I absolutely hate driving, due to putting up with obnoxious commutes for the past several years. But I also spent a good chunk of time unemployed and carless. I hated how restricting it was on my freedom. I got a lot of exercise, and it was a good experience for me overall, but I can't imagine going full time without a car.
Yeah this company is going to go bust fast LOL, serious point, when you know how much insurance is for anybody under the age of 40 it's completely understandable why this is the case. I would argue that discrimination against younger drivers is very real on a statistical level when it comes to insurance.
They base their fucking costs on extremely out of date statistics of back when retards would try to buy ancient sports cars and crash them frequently and they still post all of this crap up online as an 'explanation' for high insurance costs all over the internet when you search. Tons of articles basically gaslighting young drivers with tone deaf responses even though there are comments from people saying their children are being quoted shit like £5,000 a year or some other ridiculous figure.
This is why scooters are going to be the only option soon enough, but luckily it seems that car insurance companies are getting too greedy because now they've run out of young people to rip off they're jacking up the prices on Generation X which make up the bulk of drivers. The government will be forced to interfere with a problem they bloody created but likely a price cap of some kind will be the thing to do.
I know it will vary based on the jurisdiction but in the UK vehicle insurance is mandatory and you're fucked as a result if the prices keep going up because it's practically a necessity these days to have a vehicle of some kind. There could well be some credibility to the theory they're trying to force everyone onto electric vehicles if artificially making everything else more expensive. So far though electric is nothing more than a pipe dream and they're pretty useless but who knows what the nutter WEF types will try.
by civilized you mean mono-ethnic. people drive in "multi-cultural" societies and hate public transport because staying away from nogs, abos, pajeets, pakis, somalis, etc is absolutely worth the cost.
great examples with japan and netherlands, btw. proving my point
Just saw this ad on TV for the first time in Australia. The cheapest available is a Peugeot e 2008 at AU$235 a week and there's 16 to choose from and the dearest is BMW iX2 at AU$530 a week. So if you take a mid range you're looking at $16,000 per year. You'd have to be fucking insane or a massive virtue signaller with more money than sense to take these offers up.
You're not taking into account insurance costs which is something you have to calculate whenever buying a seemingly cheap vehicle. I've seen cars going for fuck all but when you plug them into the database you're getting ripped off big time.
I'm not taking inflation into account, but in 2018 I got used car for about that price and the insurance costs are reasonable. But double that price and you're still breaking even after 2 years.
Just to confirm we are talking 16,000 sum right. That is insane, haha Once more showing that i'm poor but the any car owned that was not company car was lower than that and by quite a bit.
You must be very lucky in your region then, in the UK the prices simply keep going up regardless of what you do and what's extremely annoying about it is you have normies gaslighting people over it as well acting like it's their fault rather than acknowledging the problem.
The only way that could even come close to break-even is if they were supplying the charging for the entire duration at no additional cost. They're not, they're trying to sell you chargers on top of it. What a joke.
Wait until they make you pay for a one-off licence fee (that happens to be the cost of the car) and a monthly subscription fee on top of all the extra charges (microtransactions).
BMW charging people to use their own seat warmers beat this to the punch.
I doubt that car subscription services are even financially viable, but they can def nickel and dime people through microtransactions to unlock all the features on cars they supposedly own. That's gonna be the more prevalent form of "owning nothing and being (un)happy," using the internet-of-things to restrict use of the things that you supposedly own in the first place.
Is that how it is in your shithole? "women by the age of 18 are ''used up'?"
If you subhumans had the integrity to not rape children, maybe the women in your country wouldn't grow up with vaginal damages and veneral diseases. But now that you're forced to live with the consequences of your actions, you're infesting other countries to push your autogenocidal agenda.
Sucks to be you, though - you're on my hunting grounds now.
People will fucking trash them.
I don't know if the kind of people that would trash them could afford them. I do hope so though.
They're electric cars, so I imagine a lot of takers will be entitled leftists with more money than sense. Being shitty people who leave others to clean up their messes because they feel doing so is beneath them is a trait they share with ghetto trash.
Humans with money trash shit, too.
ESPECIALLY "New Money".
It's like they went to the Joe Walsh school of trashing shit.
They'll trash shit because it's NOT THEIRS. Plain and simple.

I'd love to live in a place where I could completely rely on public transportation that was as convenient and comfortable as my own vehicles.
Unfortunately, that place does not and will not ever exist unless I wanted to move to Japan or Korea.

Trains exist
Trams exist
Buses exist
Bikes exist
And lastly... Taxis exist
A civilized country is keen on that train and bike combo (see japan, see netherlands)
by civilized you mean mono-ethnic. people drive in "multi-cultural" societies and hate public transport because staying away from nogs, abos, pajeets, pakis, somalis, etc is absolutely worth the cost.

You could probably buy a used car outright for that kind of money.
You're not taking into account insurance costs which is something you have to calculate whenever buying a seemingly cheap vehicle. I've seen cars going for fuck all but when you plug them into the database you're getting ripped off big time.

Then they can become a freeman, soverign or take inspiration from what goes on in Bradford.
The only way that could even come close to break-even is if they were supplying the charging for the entire duration at no additional cost. They're not, they're trying to sell you chargers on top of it. What a joke.
Look at those happy trendy kids with no money or ability to move on.
Beach trip!
Wait until they make you pay for a one-off licence fee (that happens to be the cost of the car) and a monthly subscription fee on top of all the extra charges (microtransactions).
These fucking hypocrites enrage me.
"Back to the cobalt mine, Kunta! Australia needs more e-cars!"
