So what mechanism are they going to use to remove him from the ballot in dem controlled states?
The same way they've been doing everything else, making shit up.
That’s the larger problem. They convinced people not to follow laws and no one did anything about it. They got around the constitution by encouraging people to ignore it.
The speculation is that the upcoming RINO resignations in the house will give control to the democrats and that they will fast track a law making it illegal for him to hold office again.
Changing the requirements for office would require a constitutional amendment.
What is or isn't in the Constitution hasn't mattered for over 114 years.
Honestly it hasn't mattered for 225 years.
What happened in 1910?
We can hope.
I hadn't heard about that, are there rumors of a bunch of resignations happening soon?
Only a few, a couple of pieces of shit announced that they would be resigning sometime in the future conveniently timed so that no special election could be held to replace them before the next session of congress happens.
But because of other previous resignations (like McCarthy, who took his ball and went home like a little bitch after he was ousted from the speakership) the Republican majority is so thin that it will only take a few to flip it.
They'll find a way. They've tried before but now they actually have a conviction. With this conviction they might even try to get the RINOs on board to do it federally.
They will claim that because he was convicted of a federal felony, he cannot be on the ballot.
