Whites aren't the majority in Maryland. We make up 47% of the population.
Really?! I lived in Maryland briefly in 96. Guess it has changed.
Baltimore has been courting the Hispanics. We became minority majority in the 2020 Census. So yeah it's a recent thing. Texas is a minority majority state as well.

Hispanic means nothing to me, but Mestizos are far to the left of the US in their countries, and I don't see why they would be any different here. Immigration is a huge issue in Texas that affects Hispanics. I imagine people whose families are already here are on the Wall side. Everyone wants to be the last person in.
I figured this out in California. Places FULL of transplants would have these anti-growth policies. I'm like nigga you from Michigan. telling me how (white) immigrants are ruining shit. As soon as you got here, you realized there were too many people and started bitching about it. Amazing.
