It’s been awhile, but the https://cytu.be/r/KIA2MovieClub could use some dusting off. Was thinking that doing summer blockbusters of the past would be fun. We’ll do the usual voting for movies and days time by blocks again. So this post will be for the most upvoted day of the week and time based on US eastern (UTC -5). Summer blockbusters would be the prevailing theme, but any pick is fair game as long as there’s interest. As usual it works best for the main viewing time for live chat, but will keep the movie up for the week showing.

I tried to rewatch A Few Dollars More the other day but got bored after about 30 minutes.
I used to read a lot. I'd stay up nights unable to tear myself away from a good book. Now after ten minutes I get extremely drowsy. Age does weird things.
Sounds like a good idea.
FUCK YEAH!
MOVIE CLUB!
Broken Arrow
Really any of the 90s John Woo American movies but Broken Arrow is my favorite, it is so pure
I just watched Chinatown for the first time, thought it was pretty good if you can ignore the fact that the director is a rapist pedophile.
Not a movie, but an old TV show that's free on You Tube is The Swamp Fox. It's about the American Revolution and the Guerilla fighting in South Carolina. It stars Leslie Nielsen. I first saw bits of it in reruns in the late 8os. A fun Spring/Summer time show, and seems appropriate with Memorial Day coming up.
Audie Murphy and Randolph Scott westerns are generally good adventure movies (Audie movies with heavy Indian themes should be avoided, sorry TentElephant if he still lurks). No Name on the Bullet, Ride a Crooked Trail, and Ride Clear of Diablo would be my recommendation for Audie movies and The Tall T, Ride Lonesome and A Lawless Street for Randolph Scott. Doesn't really fit the theme, but I like old westerns.
I don't exactly watch movies anymore, never exactly kept my own collection once I became an adult.
Still, I do like to keep an eye on the Flashback Cinema program, which cycles a classic movie every week in the theaters that are part of the program. I keep looking to see if Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will show up, and I did recommend it. That said, they apparently ran it March of last year, but I don't think my local theater was in the program yet.
I tried to talk about the Rocky films but was down voted. Maybe I should have talked about something gay like anime instead.
