This YTer pisses me off although, admittedly, it's mostly aesthetically, and it's less then a lot of other people piss me off. There are people out there with much worse audio presentation, and that matters more, but still. Why is this a thing? I wish he'd just either not have any avatar, or show his actual face. Male vtubers are even more cringe than female vtubers, sorry. But he seems to be doing his thing, and people enjoy it, so good for him. Legitimately.

One of my least favorite (although it's a long fucking list) argument styles, and this Twitter weirdo can get fucked. You don't just get to make up a scenario, and then pretend it's real, and that it debunks your opponent's argument.
Also, I find it a supremely ironic accusation given the Japanese soy-intake, but it's hilarious how they made the fictional Japanese person sound...totally Western-soy.

Seriously, the image that conjures is your classic fat American neckbeard, not someone from Japan. Consoooooom. Seriously, if one of the wojaks isn't conjured into your mind when you read "Wow, it's Yasuke! How Cool!" well...good, you've probably spent less time on the internet than many of us here. Maybe you even touch grass. But for me, yeah, that's wojak territory.
No need to invoke wojak to describe that performative enthusiasm.
We eastern europeans have a history of it at a gun point and we can tell just as well.
Finding one person who believes something doesn’t mean anything. For starters, trolls and contrarians exist. More importantly, an isolated few doesn’t equal a meaningful plurality. You can find Japanese people who hate Japan and want Japanese culture to be utterly destroyed and replaced. How do you think they feel about a disruptive black main character in an historical video game with a traditional Japanese setting?
There’s really no point in engaging with people before firmly establishing first order principles. If you’re debating someone whose central premise is the total annihilation of your people, your culture, and your nation, then you are wasting your time. You should be focusing on destroying them in kind.
The insane deviance it would take to even consider watching a male vtuber is a bigger red flag than almost anything I've ever seen and I've watched both seasons of Made in Abyss.
