Well, I for one, wish to give Asyia Iftikhar a massive applause for letting her voice get out there into the wild and making the world a better place for all who live in it.
The article itself is well written and, while it has a progressive slant, is well cited and doesn't look to cause any troubles.
That title though, that is awful. That is clickbait and a half.
I hope that it was her editor who picked that because, as I'm sure her Imam told her, she is bringing disrespect onto an orthodoxy even by sharing her thoughts with strangers, let alone thoughts looking to cause upset.
"When Queer As Folk creator, Russell T Davies, brought Doctor Who back in 2005 it was clear from the get-go that this is a show for all the outcasts in society." That this writer can't fathom "outcasts in society" could include straight white males shows it was written from a place of vitriol and ignorance. That you applaud just proves you're a retard.
I know, imagine claiming black people and homos are outcasts in society. I guess she means English society but homos and blacks are worshipped there as well.
All they have is the oppression card even as they are winning
I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic.
A reminder that putting /s on the end of sarcastic posts REALLY helps
We can't see air quotes and tone in text lol
The last paragraph about the Imam is about as subtle as a brick to the head.
And tagging it as sarcasm takes all of the fun out of it.
Not all of us are gifted with the ability to detect satire.
That's not a crime, just a shame.
Yeah, I’m most definitely a societal outcast, and I’m one of those dreaded “straight white males”, lol…
Still waiting for my privilege bonus to land in my bank account, tbh.
common english name
A name that harkens back to Anglo-Saxon times
Is that the name of the 6 year old banged by Mohammed?
