But any censorship imposed by Sony is a step in the wrong direction. Let the studio create the game they want to create, and let the people decide whether or not it's for them, without unrelated executives' meddling.
don't you think it a little suspect that all of these pins set up for you to knock down always make you out to look like little more than a sex-crazed maniac? anyone seeing you or others here fighting this vehemently, with this much rage and passion and fire, for some swimsuits and asses, isn't going to come out with the idea that you're some sort of freedom fighter for game developers worldwide, they'll just think you're a creep.
if defeating censorship is your goal, and it is indeed a noble goal, shouldn't you pick your battles where they're censoring something that has value even to people who do not rate games by how pornographic the characters in it are?
people who do not rate games by how pornographic the characters in it are?
Then why change it? You (and others) apparently rate the game better, cause it's now less pornographic, so you are exactly one of the people you describe in that sentence.
I have no part in this fight ,cause I don't even own a PS, but I can agree that censorship is censorship and some people have different standards to what level of censorship is okay. So why should I belittle those people especially when I think that "defeating censoprship is a noble goal".
do you think maybe your dopamine issues have gotten out of hand if it's gotten to the point where you'll tell someone to kill themselves over an internet argument about having a sexy woman made vaguely less hedonistically sexy?
they haven't even made her actually uglier. it's literally just a piece of cloth with the same attractive woman underneath, and the whole outfit is still in the grand scheme revealing. fictional cleavage being taken away from you has you this riled up.
you should pour yourself a pint and really think for a moment.
Plus those changes are obvious rush hackjobs done at the last minute to finished models, and they look horrible. If you're going to change the costumes, fine, but do it from scratch with new clothing. This effectively ruins the 'reward' of those cosmetics because they look like shit now. A one-piece is already considered modest, why add those ugly texture panels on her waist? What in the world is that supposed to do?
It's the modern equivalent of drawing clothes on a marble statue. It's defacement of art and anyone who defends it is a puritanical shitstain.
if all you want to do is run around screaming about how sony stole your pixelated women, could you at least admit it? really what peeves me about you people on here is that you pretend you're actually the brave rebel fighters who will end all censorship forever so that mankind may prosper.
look - i get it, you're pissed The Law means nothing and sony here got away with false advertising. The Law pisses me off too. but, do you seriously think that circle jerking around three inches of swimsuit for days on end is what's finally going to get your voice heard? couldn't there be a better way?
False advertising is false advertising. If I buy a basket of apples, and under the top row it's all watermelons, it doesn't matter if I think watermelons are a fine fruit too, the point is I bought a basket of apples.
Honesty and integrity in advertising is important. Don't sell a product, and then stealthily change what product it is you're selling. If you need to make substitutes to your product, announce it, offer refunds, and understand that not all customers may want your new product.
personally i find clothed women more attractive. maybe someone at sony was like that? lol
if 3 inches on a swimsuit doesn't matter, why are you this riled up about it?
if it matters, why does it matter? we have two real choices:
a piece of cloth on a swimsuit has convinced you to champion the cause against censorship and oppression worldwide
you, like many of the youth of our generation, are addicted to dopamine, pornography, or both, and whether you know it or not, this is just a visceral reaction to having them taken away from you.
i do not say that sony causing such distress to you is a good thing - i'm on your side here. however, it IS a chance for introspection, and to maybe rethink your worldview a little, if it has led to you conflating screen-titty with mankind's rights and future.
"Why do you care??" Is and remains the dumbest argument on the internet.
You dodged the question. No one protested hot chicks in games 20 years ago. Why do they do it now?
We're not the ones who changed, therefore they have to own up to their complaints. The goal is to make them say out loud that hot women are offensive to ugly chicks and troons. But they won't say that, they always flip it around and accuse us of evil thoughts. Exactly like you are.
"Finally a PS5 exclusive people care about!"
"Quick, let's destroy it!"
DEI Business Academy lessons have paid off.
so 3 inches on a swimsuit was the whole reason you bought the game, and now that they're gone, you consider it a failure?
Blood splatter too.

they promised an uncensored release and then immediately censored it with a day 1 patch
kill yourself

you're a tourist or an agent and your life has no worth in either case
If it’s not a big deal then why do it at all?
They marketed and sold it as uncensored, and it’s not. Fuck off.

It's like reading censored manga and claiming the black bars, steam and sunshafts make it lewder.

No, no compromise with censorship, I'm the customer.
Deliver what you sold it to me on or get bent.
