There was a Barbara Walters interview that had Mouth from Goonies, y'know, Corey Feldman, where he was naming names and pouring his heart out. Anyone remember the audacity of Barbara Walters to reply with "You're ruining an industry" It was such a polite way to say "Shut the fuck up and go help shovel some kids onto hollywood like a coal fire, so they can get fucked some more by rich people, so we can still have movies." I lost all respect for her and hollywood that day.

I can guarantee 100% they're being paid to care about this. Because they're certainly not acting for free, given their track record of covering for anything and everything, so long as they still get paid.

There needs to be legal recourse whenever somebody says “We all knew” or some such, where they admit to knowing of criminal behavior but ignored it in favor of maintaining a comfortable status quo. Charge them as conspirators. In fact, charge them more harshly unless they’re willing to disclose who else is part of the “we”, and then investigate/charge them too on the same grounds.
Enough of this bullshit.

No, I really wouldn't. Knowing that my extra pay came from life alteringly horrible things would make me find other employment. Even if it meant some shitty job for shit wages.
Because "Rape is fine so long as I get more money" isn't really an argument worth fighting for.
How much more money is worth it? Only a few rapes, or are we rationalizing that it doesn't matter, fuck 'em all. They're getting raped anyway, so fuck 'em, I got paid?
Basically, what is the money to rape ratio that is acceptable in this scenario?
