Here's a scenario.
You own a house. You've worked hard your whole adult life to afford this house.
One day you wake up to find a huge hole dug into your front yard, and a man demanding payment for having done so. He worked hard digging that hole all night he says, so you owe him a lot of money. What do you do?
Now the vast majority of people who answer this are not going to pay the guy, even if they can't articulate why. Most people will answer that they either call the cops or kick his ass.
And this is why. For labor to have value, it must be wanted, warranted and have a positive outcome.
You didn't want a hole in your yard. The labor was unwanted. Your yard is now essentially ruined. The labor was unwarranted. You now have to spend great time, effort or money fixing it. The labor did not have a positive outcome.
Without fulfilling all 3 of the conditions, labor is inherently devoid of value.
