I just assume if the media is claiming a back guy dindu nuffin, he probably did
Yea. I can only think of one case in recent memory where the cop shot a black guy in the back and was punished for it. Otherwise the media ignores the violently resisting arrest part. Only other group you see this with is illegal aliens.
Putting signs up that say "instead of dindu, just dindon't"
I’ll stick with comply and stay alive. lol. What really showed the media to be the scum they are was when those 5 black cops in Memphis beat and killed that guy and the media tried so hard to tie it to white supremacy. I’m surprised they didn’t have them do a dna test so they could say this cop was 15 percent white!
That one disappeared from public consciousness real goddamn fast.
Castillo was a real tragedy with the guy trying to follow orders and be transparent and it freaked the officer out. Of course you didn't hear much about him because pretty much everyone came out saying the cop fucked up.
The officer should have ordered “keep your hands on the steering wheel”. Commands must be simple and easy to follow, particularly for impaired subjects.
They both fucked up. Castillo could have, y'know, chosen to not drive while high, and then he might have been able to follow the cop's instructions.
That said, I have much more sympathy for the cop. If someone is high and claims to be armed, then proceeds to potentially reach for said weapon while ignoring commands to not reach, I can hardly blame the cop for wanting to protect himself.
I remember that case. Tragic
