If they were more right leaning, they'd have probably just exiled the Jews, gays and other undesirables out of their territory than devote resources to exterminate them. You see it throughout history, the more theistic and right leaning orders exile as they want them gone but not dedicate resources to it while the left leaning especially commie will focus on purges and extermination even at the detriment of their own progress as why not just enslave all the Jews to work in factories to mass produce munitions and facilities than have dedicated death camps?
