i just remembered the new president of Kadokawa is part of WEF and a few years ago he said he wanted to censor manga/anime for Google and Apple (censoring designs was explicitly one of the things that were mentioned https://archive.is/FpQNk) and he got backlash and apologized for it, but evidently it seems he might have still decided to go along with this policy anyways.
if it was the company and not the animator i wish the animator would have told the truth, if they don't tell people that its company policy the animators are the ones that will get the heat instead of the bosses. But i don't know really what is the real reason , im just guessing here , it might really just be the animators.
I mean "i need to censor because of other countries broadcast codes" was the animator's official excuse
They produced Made in Abyss and this season's Gushing Over Magical Girls, I don't think we have to worry about them going soft just yet.
Wait, weren't they the ones introducing AI translation instead of using localisers or was it someone else?
Because that might mean it's more her as that move indicates they don't like people messing with their work and rather train a machine to do it than use them. And eventually it'd be cheaper too but not initially.
