Lol. Lemon really overvalued himself. He wanted equity in x as part of deal

This legitimately reads like an idiot trying to hostage negotiate. Like the guys from the OG RoboCop. "I want
a million bucksfive million! And a6000 SUXCybertruck!"Reminds me of the movie of the guy who robs a bank and then pretends to be a released hostage. He keeps making demands from a random pay phone to stall the cops. It stars Bill Murray and is very weird.
Quick Change, also has Randy Quaid in it.
Oh sir, you forgot the million dollars strapped to my ass.
Classic movie.
The difference between Tucker and him, other than just talent, not an asshole, actually has integrity etc...
Lemon thought that he could demand kickbacks like his old job and doing the same shit as before. Tucker KNEW the platform he is now on and used the less strings holding him back to make a bigger name for himself with the Alex Jones and Putin interview.
The first thing Lemon tried was a slanderous 'interview' with Elon in a 'if you don't give me what I want you'll be a racist!' when Elon has told people MUCH more powerful than him to 'go fuck themselves!' publicly, on stream, to their face for less..
Makes me wonder if this goof has already blown through his alleged 24 million "Please just fucking leave" CNN severance.
Either way it reads like a demented toddler looking for attention. I hope Musk laughed in his face as he threw him out of the building.
He may have learned that the money he got wasn't as real as he thought. His house, car, and everything else was actually owned by CNN and it's contributors. His ego is too big to realize the problem.
I'm going to recycle my joke about unreasonable woke retards offering nothing of value, yet demanding the Moon and a gender-fluid poney too.
Maybe I'm cynical but doesn't this seem like the liberal version of the Crowder/DW kerfuffle? I feel like the media is just doing the same stories like a Mad Libs and the turnaround of the use of those stories is growing shorter.
I mean dw gave crowder a bad deal as an employer while lemon tried to give x a bad deal as an employee. Its very different power dynamics
Made more hilarious by the fact its lemon
I agree they aren't 1 to 1 comparisons but it is similar. In both cases Crowder and Lemon could have kept their business negotiations to themselves.
Ah yes, that thing talking heads are well known for, keeping to themselves.
This is just a botched negotiation. Lemon sees himself as more valuable than Musk did. It happens. Even though Lemon is a joke, I do think he'd probably have brought traffic so his demands probably aren't that unreasonable. The problem is that he's got no where else to go and Musk knows it so Musk was trying to get a sweet deal out of desperation. Lemon wasn't going to grovel so he came to the table with demands that showed that. Musk realized he wasn't going to get his sweet deal and scraped the idea.
He wouldnt have brought more traffic than tucker and tucker doesnt have any of those deals
